Had an awesome stay here! The location was very convenient, close to Kings Cross station and also right near some amazing food options. The room was clean and very cute! Everything regarding the checking in process was very clearly communicated. Most important for us though was how safe we felt there, especially as young travellers.
Our recent stay at the Bayswater Boutique Lodge was just exactly what we needed and more. Upon arrival the communication of check-in/check-out was very clear. We were pleasantly surprised with the aesthetic (definitely boutique) and cleanliness of the lodge and room itself. Not to mention the perfect location next to Kings Cross made it super easy to catch the train into the CBD.
For us travellers that are used to staying in lodges, this was definitely a superior stay, and we will definitely be looking to come again soon. Thanks Boutique Lodge! :)
We really enjoyed our stay at the Bayswater Boutique for our visit to Sydney. The room was spacious and clean. The location is around 15min bus ride from the city centre and the nearest station was 5min walk away which was great! The bathroom was shared so there were a few moments when we wanted to use it but it was occupied, but that was to be expected. Our favourite feature was the sink, cutlery and microwave in the room! Highly recommended.
My partner and I stayed at your lodge a few nights ago and I wanted to express some disappointment with the lack of cleanliness, especially in the ensuite bathroom and kitchenette. ||Our shower was covered in black mould and the toilet …
the rooms are very clean, and the welcome is fantastic. i came with my boyfriend and the lady at reception and the people who did the cleaning were very kind and available. the little balcony in the room really makes a difference, it's perfect for a romantic aperitif. thank you for your welcome. :)) |Manon
This hotel appears to be a former hostel style accommodation that was renovated into a 'boutique lodge'. But overall I liked what they've done to the place and found it to be a good mid-range accommodation that didn't break the budget. Normally there's no in-person reception and they send you door codes, which I prefer. The sheets were clean and the rooms were well fitted with sinks, fridges, kettles, desks, lamps and a TV with netflix.
As for some criticisms guests should be aware of: the worst feature would be the tiny shared bathrooms, this didn't bother me but some taller/bigger guests will find bathrooms claustrophobic. Another issue would be noise levels, it's close to King's Cross which can be a bit busy and the sound proofing on this building isn't very good. Last of all the building doesn't seem to have a good AC system, so this may be a bad spot to stay in during times of extreme weather.
I booked a night's stay at the Bayswater Boutique Hotel and got stuck outside the property without the required pin code for access as it simply did not come through as it was supposed to. I rang the number of customer service and no one answered. I had to wait 3 hours before I could check in and when I complained they cancelled my booking straight away and left me without a hotel. Then they would not refund my money and instead kept it. These people are awful. I would stay away from this kind of stuff you unless you want to nightmare to deal with unless you want nightmares to deal with. And they are money hungry. Everything you need or want you have to pay extra. Horrible people
We were so happy with the Boutique lodge. Candidly, at this price point, we weren't expecting such a fantastic experience-the rooms were lovely, quiet and clean, and so reasonably priced. The whole automated and contactless check in/out …
